2011 Yearly Sponsorship Opportunities
2011 Sponsorship levels available
The Wabash Valley Horsemen's Association was formed March 24, 1948.
We are proud to continue to be a successful organization
devoted to the promotion of horse activities in the area.
We are sponsoring nine or ten
horse shows at the Vigo County Fairgrounds this show season.
Our "big event" of the year is the July 4th Frontier Day
Parade and Horse Show.
We encourage community participation to honor the birth of our
nation.
This will be the 66th year for the parade held in downtown
Terre Haute. Each year
awards are given for twenty-five costume categories worn in the
parade as well as a silver belt buckle presented to the King of the
Cowboys and the Frontier Gal.
The awards are presented beginning at 12:00 pm at the Vigo
County Fairgrounds.
Pre-show events include games for all ages both with and
without horses to allow more of the community to participate.
Trophies or ribbons go to the winners of these events.
The fifteen-event horse show follows with classes including
halter, lead line, walk trot, western pleasure, barrels and poles.
Awards and money are given to the winners in these classes.
We would like to make this year the biggest and best ever,
and to help us do this, we are soliciting community sponsors.
We have many sponsorships levels available.
for the different sponsorship options.
In the past, sponsorship was available for just the Frontier
Day Parade. Beginning
this year, we are soliciting yearly sponsors to offer those sponsors
more "bang for their buck"
and to offer them more exposure throughout the entire show season
instead of just one event.
We will be putting together a 2011 season show and parade
booklet to be distributed beginning May through the end of the
season (October). These
booklets will be available for free around the Wabash Valley at many
businesses as well as at each horse show.
The booklet will also be available year-round for viewing on
our website.
If you would like to participate in becoming a yearly sponsor
of Wabash Valley Horsemen's Association's many horse-related
activities, please return the enclosed form as soon as possible to
ensure your advertising spot. The deadline this year is much earlier
(April 8, 2011) as the booklets must be printed and distributed by
the middle of April for maximum exposure.
If you have any questions or
are not familiar with our program booklet
copy of last year's issue. Please keep in mind, however, that
the
NEW 2011 booklet will
also include all the show bills for our nine to ten horse shows so
it will be even bigger
this year! Thank you again for your consideration and support.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
