horse activities in the area.


Join us for the 65th Annual Frontier Day Parade
July 3, 2010 starting at 9:30 am
Parade route:  4th & Wabash down to 9th St. circling around Hulman Center and
returning back down Wabash Ave to 4th St.

Parade numbers are available for purchase through July 2nd (4:00 pm) at Boot City, Graham Grain & Morgan Feeds.   Parade numbers will also be available the morning of the parade in the parking lot area (ISU parking lot just off 3rd ST/US 41 across from Hardee's).

The Wabash Valley Horsemen's Association was formed March 24, 1945.
We are proud to continue to be a successful organization devoted to the promotion of horse activities in the area.  We wish to thank, individually and collectively those individuals and business firms in Terre Haute and surrounding areas who have continued in so many ways to the promotion and success of this parade and show.  We hope that we may have their continued support so that we may make this annual event bigger and more colorful each year.

  *  The King of the Cowboys and Frontier Gal titles are awarded annually to a male and female who have been active in the equine community.  They are either active in horse activities, long time parade participants or have been active supporters/promoters of equine activity of events in the Wabash Valley.  To be eligible for the award they must be riding in the parade.  The candidates are selected by nominations prior to July 4th and then win the title by the WVHA Board of Directors majority vote process on Frontier Day.  All other parade classes are judged categories open to anyone!!
